TROOPS KILL ONE BANDIT, RESCUE 14 KIDNAPPED VICTIMS IN KADUNA
Troops of Sector Four of Operation Whirl Punch, and Special Forces of the 167 Battalion have neutralized one bandit after engaging the miscreants in a fierce battle in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The information available indicates that the troops embarked on a long-range fighting patrol to the Tukurua general area of Chikun LGA, engaged and overpowered the outlaws, neutralizing one, while others flew in disarray.
During the operation, the gallant troops rescued 14 kidnapped victims, comprising nine men and five women, destroyed the bandits’ hideouts(camps) and confiscated Two(2) motorcycles.
