UNKNOWN GUNMEN STORM APC MEETING IN ENUGU SOUTH LGA, KILL TWO CHIEFTAINS, ABDUCT ONE, INJURE MANY
Unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening stormed an All Progressives Congress (APC) meeting in Enugu State, killing two Chieftains and injuring several.
Reports indicate that the deceased and others were having a reconciliation meeting at the party office at Ward III Obeagu Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area when the assailants, numbering about seven, invaded and attacked them.
It was gathered that the assailants also abducted another chieftain of the party during the attack.
It is believed that the meeting was called to reconcile the two factions of the party in the ward as part of the ongoing efforts to unite all members of the party in the State.
