UPDATE: KIDNAPPED EDO DPO REGAINS FREEDOM
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fugar, Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State, CSP Ibrahim Ishaq, has been released by his abductors.
Recall, on November 27, Eons Intelligence reported that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fugar Police Station, Edo State Police Command, Ibrahim Aliyu, was kidnapped by gunmen along the old Auchi – Ekperi- Agenebode Road, Edo State.
The abductors had demanded a ransom of N50 million before releasing the DPO.
He was said to have been released on Thursday night.
The State’s Police PRO, Kongtons Bello, confirmed the release of the DPO.
He said, “I can confirm that the DPO of Fugar has been freed by the command operatives from the kidnappers' den.”
