325 MORE NIGERIANS EVACUATED FROM THE US
325 more stranded Nigerians in the US have been evacuated to Abuja and Lagos.
The evacuees include 128 males and 178 females.
This is the sixth batch of evacuees to arrive Nigeria from the US.
The evacuation was confirmed by Mr. Benaoyagha Okoyen, the consular General of Nigeria in New York.
This brings the total number of stranded Nigerians evacuated from the US to 1,739.
According to Okoyen, the Ethiopian Airlines flight would land first at Abuja before heading to Lagos.
Just like the previous evacuation protocols, all the evacuees would begin their 14-day isolation as directed by the Federal Government and the NCDC.
This is after they must have gone through covid-19 testing upon arrival at the airport.
