17 GREENFIELD UNIVERSITY STUDENTS STILL HELD IN CAPTIVITY

The remaining 17 students of Greenfield University in Kaduna State who were abducted more than 30 days ago by bandits are still in captivity.


It may be recalled that the students were abducted at about 8:15 pm on April 20 last year in Kakumi village on the Kaduna-Abuja road.

Twenty-two students were reportedly abducted and another university employee was killed.


The gunmen demanded N800 million as ransom for the students, and a day after their abduction, five bodies were found near the university.
