ABUJA CONCERT: POLICE FILE CHARGES AGAINST NAIRA MARLEY
The Lagos State Police Command has filed charges against Nigerian musician Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley for flouting COVID 19 travel restrictions in June.
Recall that Naira Marley was in the news for traveling to Abuja on a chartered jet to perform at a concert held in Jabi Lake Mall on Saturday June 13, flouting the COVID 19 Presidential Task Force guidelines on social gatherings and the Federal and State government restriction on interstate traveling.

Government stopped operations of the airline whose plane was chartered by Naira Marley and the Mall where the event was held was shut down.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer told newsmen that Naira Marley presented himself at the Command Headquarters on Thursday.
He would be facing criminal charges for flouting travel Lagos State COVID 19 restrictions on interstate traveling.
