ADAMAWA GOVERNMENT ORDERS SCHOOLS TO VACATE ON FRIDAY

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has directed both Public and Private Schools across the State to end the first term and vacate on Friday, December 18.

Fintiri, in a statement through the Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, on Friday, directed that Schools who are yet to round up academic activities for the first term 20/21 academic session to ensure they do so on Friday December, 18 2020 and close for the Christmas and New Year break.


"This is to allow School Children close and get home early for the Yuletide and New Year celebrations", Governor Fintiri said.


According to the statement, the Schools are to resume for the second term on Sunday, January 10 for boarding schools while academic activities commence on Monday, January 11, 2021.


The State Government hereby urged school managers to adhere to the directive.
