ANAMBRA RECORDS FIRST COVID-19 DEATH
Anambra has recorded its first COVID-19 death.
The deceased is a 66 years old patient.
This was announced during a State Broadcast by Governor Willie Obiano yesterday night.
The Governor said, “Ndi Anambra it is important to explain here that the only Covid-19 death we have recorded so far was a 66-year old man who did not report his ill-health on time”
‘’His case was reported late to the hospital and by the time his result came back positive, 24 hours later, he had passed away” Obiano said.
Anambra has recorded 9 cases of Coronavirus so far.
Of the 9 cases, 8 are active and are on admission, and 1 patient have been discharged.
