ANOTHER REASON TO INVESTIGATE THE BACKGROUND OF YOUR DOMESTIC STAFF-MAN NARRATES HOW HE NARROWLY ESCAPED BEING KILLED BY HIS GATEMAN (AUDIO )

There has been a disturbing increase in domestic staff wreaking havoc on their employers’ homes either by stealing, kidnapping, assaulting the kids, or outrightly murdering their unsuspecting employers.

A man who narrowly escaped death at the hands of his gateman gave a chilling account of his ordeal.

According to him, on Tuesday, June 9, his gateman, identified as Eric, tried to kill him by luring him to an empty building located within the estate where they lived.

This employer though shaken, escaped being stabbed and strangled to death by Eric, a man he employed in February through a private security company.

They later realised that Eric had disabled the CCTV installations to ensure no one could hold on to any evidence of him killing his boss.

His employer says Eric confessed that he planned first to kill his boss, then return to the house and destroy his family before looting their home and escaping to his hometown in Rivers.

Eric’s plan was unsuccessful, and he is presently in police custody; unfortunately, a lot more are not as lucky.

In 2018, the late Chairman of Credit Switch Technology, Chief Opeyemi Badamosi was killed in his bedroom by the Togolese cook he brought into his home three days earlier.

An 89-year-old woman was also killed by her house help last year.

The culprit stole the deceased’s car and other valuables in the home.

It is pertinent to run a background check on domestics helps before they are introduced into homes.

Moreso, citizens, must be extra vigilant and intermittently monitor their staff because kidnap syndicates, thieves, murderers and psychopaths now pose as domestic helps to gain access to the homes of unsuspecting pubic.
