BANDITS KILL CLERIC AND TWO OTHERS IN KADUNA COMMUNITY
Reports indicate that on Saturday, January 2, bandits attacked Kawaran Rafi village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna, killing its Chief Imam, Sheik Danleeman Isah, and two others in the process.
The incident was confirmed in a statement by Samuel Aruwan, Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs.
He said that the assailants stormed the village and headed straight to the Chief Imam's Residence and shot him dead.
The Commissioner revealed that the attack on the cleric is linked to his stance against banditry and terrorism in the State.
In the same vein, bandits have also killed the Ardo Musa Layi of Kajuru local Government. It was learnt that the traditional ruler was an advocate against the killings, kidnappings, and cattle rustling in Kaduna.

Similarly, security agents have confirmed the killing of the Sarkin Yaki of Godogodo, Yohanna Abu, by a notorious syndicate in Kaduna.
It was gathered that the gang attacked Nisama village in Jema’a local Government area late on Friday night and abducted Abu alongside another resident identified as Mr Charles Audu.
According to reports, a fight ensued between the duo and the kidnappers which led to the assailants shooting Abu while Charles Adu escaped with severe injuries.
The Commissioner noted that five persons have been arrested in connection with the killing, as security operatives intensify their investigations to apprehend the other members of the syndicate.
In the last one year, the rise in insecurity in Kaduna State has become a huge worry to residents as Bandits keep terrorising the State on countless occasions.
On Saturday, January 2, Eons Intelligence reported that security operatives killed scores of bandits on the Kaduna-Birni Gwari road.
On December 28, security operatives confirmed the killing of a notorious bandits, Nasiru Kachalla, known for masterminding several criminal acts in Kaduna.
