APP WITHDRAWS PETITION CHALLENGING TINUBU'S VICTORY
The Action Peoples Party (APP) has withdrawn its petition against the victory of President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the 2023 General Elections.
Obed Agu, Counsel to APP asked the Court to strike out and dismiss the suit, indicating he was working on the instructions of his client.
Meanwhile, counsel to Tinubu, Wole Olanipekun, said he and his client are not opposing the application for withdrawal, adding that they are also not asking for cost.
Justice Haruna Tsammani, Chairman of the Panel, dismissed the suit with no cost attached.
