BANDITS ABDUCT 20 COMMUTERS ON THE GIWA-ZARIA EXPRESSWAY IN KADUNA

Eons Intelligence have gathered that about 20 travelers (mostly women) have been abducted by armed bandits along the Zaria-Giwa highway, Kaduna State.

Recall, Eons Intelligence reported in October that the NCC suspended telecoms services in most parts of Kaduna to curb the menace of bandits and other criminals in the State.

The incident occurred around 5pm on Monday November 8.

Sources disclose that 13 of the abductees were employees of Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

This is coming when bandits invaded the residence of a former Senior Military Officer in the Rigasa area of the State, assassinating him and his driver.

In August 2021, Eons Intelligence reported how bandits ambushed several commuters on the Jos-Zaria expressway. The assailants killed not less than 22 persons and inflicted severe injuries on several others.
