BANDITS ATTACK MOSQUE IN TARABA COMMUNITY, ABDUCT FOUR WORSHIPPERS

Eons Intelligence have gathered that bandits have attacked a Mosque at Tella town in Gassol LGA of Taraba State, abducting four worshippers.

Sources say the assailants, numbering about 12, stormed the mosque around 7pm on Wednesday evening, abducting four persons who were observing Isha’i prayers.

It was said that the bandits disrupted the prayer session and led out the victims from the Mosque at gunpoint.

This is coming three weeks after about 11 persons were killed while many others sustained injuries following an inter-tribal clash between Tiv and Fulani locals in Batanje community, Gassol LGA of Taraba.

In recent weeks, Taraba has witnessed extreme violence accompanied with killings and kidnappings. On November 17, Eons Intelligence reported that suspected Ambazonian separatists from Cameroon unleashed mayhem in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State, killing a Monarch and setting property ablaze
