BANDITS KILL RESIDENTS IN FRESH ATTACKS ON NIGER COMMUNITIES
Bandits have launched another daring attacks on some communities in Gurmana Ward of Shiroro local government area of Niger State and killed a yet to be specified number of residents.
The attack occurred barely 24 hours after bandits abducted at least 27 students and staff of Government Science College, Kagara in the Rafi Local Government Area of the State.
Eons Intelligence gathered that Sarkin Zama, Bakin Kogi (Lagbe), Siyiko and other Villages were on Wednesday evening invaded by gunmen who stormed the Villages in large numbers.

It was learnt that the attackers operated for hours without any resistance from security agencies. The attack was said to have recorded some casualties whose figure is yet to be ascertained.
Confirming the attack, Sani Abubakar Yusuf Kokki, Co-convener, Concerned Shiroro Youths said deaths have been recorded while others who sustained various degrees of gunshot injuries were rushed to various health facilities for medical attention while scores of others have been abducted and taken to unknown destinations.
“Countless deadly attacks have become daily occurrences thereby compelling the affected victims to live at the mercy of hydra-headed monsters. Defenceless, unarmed and peaceful locals have been abandoned to their fate,” Kokki said.
Meanwhile, Governor Sani Bello said on Wednesday evening that efforts were underway to rescue students abducted by bandits in Government Science College, Kagara.

It is pertinent that relevant security agencies deploy their men to all States across the country known to be bandits hotspots to enhance swift response to future attacks.
