BANDITS KILL VILLAGE HEAD IN SABON BIRNI LGA OF SOKOTO
Eons Intelligence have gathered that bandits have killed the village head of Magira in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State, Malam Umaru Sanda.
Sources say the assailants invaded the village around 12:30am midnight on Tuesday.
It was learnt that after the bandits killed the Village Head of Magira, they went to Garin Idi village and abducted a 16-year old girl identified as Naja’atu.
However, the abductee was released later on Tuesday and has been reunited with her parents.
The bandits were also said to have kidnapped two persons at the neighboring village of Rambadawa.
This comes two days after gunmen killed 19 vigilantes in Yartsakuwa village of Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
