BOEING 737 PASSENGER PLANE GOES MISSING AFTER TAKE-OFF IN INDONESIA
A Boeing 737 passenger plane with 62 souls on board has gone missing in Indonesia.
The plane with registration number PK-CLC (MSN 27323) was en route Pontianak. It took off from Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in Jakarta at 07:36 UTC time on Saturday but lost more than 10,000 feet of altitude in less than one minute, according to Flight Radar.
"Sriwijaya Air flight #SJ182 lost more than 10.000 feet of altitude in less than one minute, about 4 minutes after departure from Jakarta," Flightradar24 tweeted Saturday morning.

The Ministry of Transportation office in Jakarta has released a statement saying the missing plane is currently under investigation and under coordination with the National Search and Rescue Agency and the National Transportation Safety Committee.
