BREAKING: PRESIDENT BUHARI RECOMMENDS ADENIRAN RAHAMON AS INEC REC
President Muhammadu Buhari has recommended Dr. Tella Adeniran Rahamon for the appointment as Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osun State.
President Buhari also submitted the name of James Jiya Kolo to the Senate as replacement for Mr. Daniel James Kolo, who he earlier recommended for appointment as a Commissioner of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) representing Kwara state.
President Buhari’s letters of request was read by the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, on the floor of the Senate at plenary.
Lawan directed the two requests to the relevant committees of the Senate for their decision.
