BUHARI ORDERS QUICK MILITARY ATTACK ON BANDITS IN KATSINA
A Special Force has been authorised by President Muhammadu Buhari to launch a military offensive on bandits and kidnappers in Katsina.
This is contained in a statement signed by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday, May 17.
The Special Force is said to replace the reactive strikes against insurgent camps.
He said a planning team is already in the State to ensure apt execution of Operation.
There have been series of bandits attack on the State.
According to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, the operation will be executed soon.
President Muhammadu Buhari, extended his condolences to the families of those killed and prayed for the recovery of the injured.
