COVID-19: JIGAWA RECORDS FIRST CASE
Jigawa State has recorded its first case of Coronavirus.
This was disclosed by the state governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, during an interview on Sunday, 19th April.
Consequently, Abubakar has announced a lockdown in Kazaure Local Government Area where the case was confirmed.
In his speech, he revealed that the victim recently returned from Lagos and was placed on isolation, before his test result came out positive.
Abubakar urged people of the state to be alert and abide by the measures to curb the spread of the virus.
