COVID-19: RIVERS DISCHARGES SECOND PATIENT
The second coronavirus patient in Rivers will be discharged soon.
This was disclosed by the Governor of the State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, in a press conference at the Government House on Friday.
He said: “The second case which was recorded and taken to the treatment center has now tested negative and will be discharged this morning, thanks to God for His mercy.”
Wike took to his Twitter handle to announce this;
“Dear people of Rivers State.
I am pleased to announce that the second and only active case of Covid-19 in Rivers State will soon be discharged after subsequent tests. Rivers State will be declared COVID-19 FREE!“
The governor commended health officials and security operatives for the success in containing the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
