COVID 19 SECOND WAVE: FG EXTENDS WORK FROM HOME ORDER FOR GL12 EMPLOYEES, OTHERS
The Federal Government has extended the work from home order for officers on Grade Level 12 and below as part of measures to curb the rising cases of COVID 19.
Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Head of Service of the Federation made this known via a circular issued on Tuesday, January 26.
"All officers on GL12 and below are to continue working from home till the end of February 2021," the statement read.
Dr Yemi-Esan stated that the decision was made following the advice of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
He also emphasized the need to ensure strict compliance with the existing guidelines on the prevention of the spread of the pandemic.
Federal Government workers from GL 12 and below were directed to work from home on December 22, 2020, as part of measures to curb rising cases of the Coronavirus.
As of January 26, Nigeria has recorded 124,289 Coronavirus cases and 1,522 deaths.
