DSS OFFICER KIDNAPPED, ANOTHER ESCAPE ALONG OKENE ROAD
Reports indicate that two personnel of the Department of State Services (DSS), were attacked along Okene axis, Kogi State, en route Abuja from Edo State.
One of the officers was kidnapped, while the second officer escaped with bullet wounds and is currently responding to treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Lokoja.
The victims were travelling to Abuja en route Okene when they were attacked.
The Okene-Abuja route has been identified as a Kidnapping hotspot with several kidnapping reported around the axis in recent times.
