CLERGYMAN, SEVEN OTHERS ABDUCTED WHILE TRAVELLING IN NORTHERN NIGERIA

A Pastor, Rev. Polycarp Zongo, has been abducted whilst travelling from Plateau to Gombe State.

Rev. Zongo, a Plateau State indigene, and a Pastor with the Church Of Christ In Nations (COCIN), was reported missing on October 19, when he left Plateau for a conference slated for October 20, in Gombe.

His abduction was confirmed via a video which surfaced on social media this morning after days of not hearing from him.

Rev. Zongo, who revealed he was abducted alongside two other Christian ladies, called on the Plateau State Government and the Christian Association of Nigeria to come to their rescue.

In the same vein, a certain Miss Fayina Ali, and four other females were reported missing on the same day Rev. Zongo was abducted.

Miss Fayina reportedly left home for Maiduguri, Borno State, when she was abducted by suspected Boko Haram Militia.

The other ladies were said to have left their homes heading to different locations in North-Eastern Nigeria when they were abducted.

Details of the four other abducted ladies are unavailable as at the time of filing this report.
