GUNMEN ABDUCT FORMER NULGE CHAIRMAN, OTHERS IN NASARAWA
Gunmen have abducted Ismaila Konga, the former Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), in Nasarawa State.
Konga was abducted alongside two others on Monday evening while on his way from Akwanga town, the headquarters of Akwanga Local Government Area, to his country home in Andaha.
Information available indicates that the kidnappers mounted roadblock and opened fire on the victim and whisked him away alongside two other persons. A Hilux driver, who also ran into them was killed by the kidnappers.
