GUNMEN KILL SEVEN IN PLATEAU STATE COMMUNITY
Gunmen on 26 June 2023 attacked Kerang community between 1700hrs and 1800hrs and killed about seven persons in Sohon Kegan, Mangu LGA, Plateau State.
The information available indicates that the gunmen invaded the community behind the SWAN Water Company Ltd, located in Kerang community and started firing gunshots which led to the killing of the victims.
The corpses of the victims were discovered by residents this morning.
Despite a 24-hour curfew imposed on the LGA following a similar attack by gunmen that claimed several lives in neighbouring communities last week, the gunmen still carried out their evil activities on Sohon Kegan community.
The gunmen escaped into the bush after carrying out their evil acts.
All victims were given mass burial this morning 27th June, 2023.
