HOODLUMS ATTACK OBA OF LAGOS PALACE, STEAL STAFF OF OFFICE (VIDEO)
Armed Thugs on Wednesday stormed the Palace of the Oba of Lagos, Rilwanu Akiolu, located at Iga Idugaran, Lagos Island, vandalising vehicles and carting away several items.
In a video captured online, the thugs were seen making away with the staff of office, popularly known as 'Opa ase'
Report says the thugs that invaded the Oba's palace were the ones who set the family home of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu ablaze.
However, men of the Nigerian Army have rescued the Oba from angry protesting youth who reportedly attempted to burn the palace down.
Several private and public facilities in Lagos State have been destroyed during the Wednesday clash.
However, Lagos State Government has ordered for the immediate suspension of all State activities for 3 days except those connected with governance of security in the State and the management of the current issue.
