IKOYI BUILDING COLLAPSE: DEATH TOLL RISES TO 15
Reports indicate that more people have been confirmed killed after a high-rise building collapsed in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.
Recall that Eons Intelligence reported on Monday that the building, located along wesley road, Ikoyi, collapsed with many trapped beneath it.
While four persons were killed and five others rescued as of Monday night, the death toll and number of survivors rose on Tuesday as emergency responders worked tirelessly all through the night.
The spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) stated that 11 more bodies were recovered on Tuesday while four persons trapped were rescued by emergency responders.
This brings the total figures of those killed and rescued so far to 15 and 10 respectively.
