RIVERS STATE POLICE COMMAND RECOVERS THREE CORPSES OF MISSING PERSONS IN A FOREST
The Rivers State Police command has recovered three decomposing corpses buried at a forest in Bera, Gokana Local Government Area of the State.
This comes barely three days after the police recovered rotten corpses of a certain Ereba Gospel Dinabari from Gokana who was abducted and tied to a tree in Eleme LGA.
The Rivers State Police spokesperson, Nnamdi Omoni, confirmed the development.
Omoni told newsmen on Friday that the three victims were reported missing at the Door Police Station on March 14th, which led to the arrest of two suspects allegedly involved in the act.
The corpses were identified by their relatives who followed the police to the forest and gave their names as Baridoma Leto, Baridon Gbarabera, and Variation Nawei.
"We have just exhumed the corpses of three decomposing persons. You will recall that on March 14th, there was a case of missing persons reported at the Kpor Police Station."
The spokesman added that the police would go for other members of the gang who are on the run.
