INTENSE ONSLAUGHT OF AIRSTRIKES BY TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI NEUTRALIZE KEY TERRORIST KINGPIN, 42 OTHERS IN N/W REGION
Reliable Intelligence indicates that Troops of Operation Hadin Kai on Monday neutralized a key terrorist kingpin, Dogo Umaru and his foot soldiers in Katsina.
Dogo Umaru is one of the keymen loyal to the dreaded notorious terrorist, Bello Turji.
The onslaught of the intense airstrikes was authorized after surveillance revealed that Dogo Umaru and his cohorts were confirmed to have orchestrated a series of attacks on Magama Village in Jibia Local Government Area, Katsina which resulted in the death of the Magana DPO and injured a Nigerian Army.

Reports indicate that Dogo Umaru and his foot soldiers are responsible for the unabated attacks within the community, one of which resulted in the closure of Tsamben Dantambara Primary School.
After detailed surveillance revealed the hideout of the terrorists in a nearby school around Tsaunin Babare Village, two aircraft were immediately deployed to the location to mop them up.
Attacks were simultaneously launched. While one of the aircraft engaged the terrorists in successive passes, the scampering terrorists who were seen fleeing for safety were equally neutralized by the second aircraft.
According to the locals, over 42 terrorists were neutralized near Tsamben Babare village by the NAF airstrikes, including Dogo Umaru, while innumerable others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
A combined team of the Armed Forces and other Security Operatives continue to record commendable success in the fight against terrorism in the Northern region.
Worthy of mention is the giant stride recorded last week when NAF aircraft in Kaduna and the Niger States eliminated scores of terrorists near the Nigerian Defense Academy and along Shadadi-Maundu respectively.
Furthermore, Operation Hadin Kai continues to blaze new success trails in the Northeast as an indication of the determination of the Armed Forces of Nigeria to sustain the success records in the war against terrorism for which they are known for.
Given the waves of success recorded daily in the fight against terrorism, it is envisaged that the country will witness an end to the litany of human carnage and arson in no distant time.
