ISIS MERCENARIES ARRIVE FROM LIBYA, PLAN ATTACKS ON THREE BORNO COMMUNITIES
The ISIS group is planning to launch attacks on Baga, Malam Fatori and Marte communities, in Borno State, North-East, Nigeria, Eons Intelligence have gathered.
This comes after over 200 ISIS mercenaries, led by their new leader, Sani Shuwaram, arrived Sabon Tumbu from Libya and Syria.
The sources confirmed their arrival at Sabon Tumbu. The mercenaries were seen observing Jummat prayers on Friday at Sabon Tumbus.
Recall that Shuwaram (Wali) replaced the Commander, who had been appointed in acting capacity since the death of Malam Bako.
Eons Intelligence also learned that ISIS is to provide logistic support to ISWAP in the planned attacks at Baga, Marte and Malam Fatori, as well as in other locations.
The planned offensives are said to be part of a grand plan by ISIS to take over some identified strong holds in the region.
Last week, Eons intelligence reported the plan by ISWAP to move military uniforms purchased from Libya into Nigeria.
Islamic State is ISWAP's local affiliate, to further its expansionist agenda in the region.
The Federal Government is therefore urged to act fast in order to stop what security experts have described as the restructuring of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Nigeria.
The group is desperate in its plans to expand their territories in Nigeria. The Nigerian Government can not afford to be complacent on this one.
