KIDNAPPERS DEMAND N200MILLION TO FREE ABDUCTEES IN NIGER STATE
Kidnappers that invaded Adunu, Kwagana, and adjoining communities in Paikoro LGA in Niger State have reportedly demanded N200 million in ransom to release the 56 abducted farmers.
The kidnappers stormed some villages in Niger State on 14th March 2023 and kidnapped almost 100 people but some later escaped.

The information available indicates that the bandits called the residents on 28th March 2023, to report the death of one of the abductees they killed and also threatened to kill more.
The situation has deteriorated the residents as they cannot go on their daily farming activities nor raise the huge amount the terrorists requested.
Meanwhile, the police and the military are putting all efforts together to tactically rescue the victims from captivity.
