IT’S BEEN THREE WEEKS OF HELL- PETER OKOYE REVEALS HOW HIS HOUSEHOLD SURVIVED CORONAVIRUS

Nigerian musician and Businessman, Peter Okoye, on Saturday, June 27, revealed that himself, his wife and daughter alongside two of his domestic staff contracted the deadly Coronavirus. 


“It’s been three weeks of hell for me and my family,” Peter said in a video he shared on his social media platforms.


The musician revealed that when he got tested for COVID19, and his result came back positive, he immediately began self-isolating in his guest room while he continued receiving treatment. “I was kind of imprisoned in my own home,” he said.


Peter said he decided to share his experience with the world so that the people can be encouraged to take Coronavirus seriously and take precautions like social distancing and disinfecting their environment. 


The CEO of Zoom Life revealed that his wife, his daughter and two of his domestic staff also contracted the virus.


An emotional Peter disclosed how Lola, his wife risked her life by insisting on staying on their sick daughter’s side.


“The next day, my wife did something courageous, she picked our daughter from our room, and held her, took her to the master bedroom… she said I can’t leave this girl alone. I’d rather be infected. I’d rather be with her,” he said.


The storm is now over as every one of Peter Okoye’s household are now COVID 19 free.

 

“I’m happy to announce that my wife, myself, our daughter and two of our domestic staff, all of us are now negative. I just want to say thank God that we are alive so guys, please be safe out there,” he said.
