LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT SEALS AND REVOKES LICENSE OF QUEENS PARK EVENT CENTRE FOR FLOUTING COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
The Lagos State Government has sealed and revoked the license of Queens Park event centre for flouting COVID-19 protocols of the State.
This comes after an event that was held at the venue on December 26 contravened all safety protocols laid down by the State.
Confirming the development in a statement, Pharm. Uzamat Akinbile Yussuf, the State's Commissioner for Tourism, said the step to withdraw the license was taken in the best interest of the State.
She called on other event centres and venue owners to comply with the Government's laid down directives or risk their chances of doing business in Lagos State.
The Commissioner reiterated that the fight against COVID-19 can only be successful if all laid down public health and safety protocols are obeyed.
