LAGOSIANS VIOLATE COVID-19 DIRECTIVES AS FG RELAXES LOCKDOWN
Following the partial ease of lockdown by President Muhamadu Buari in Lagos,FCT and Ogun, which takes effect today,May 4th, Lagos state residents were seen violating measures and directives put in place to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

During the early hour of today, Lagosians troop out in their multitude to their places of work and to serve other purposes. It was noticed that lagosians violated the social distancing advisory, face mask wearing. Social distancing directive was violated especially at banks, as it record large turnout today in Lagos.

Banks in FCT, Lagos and Ogun were shut down for over one month following the lockdown directive of President Muhammadu Buhari in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19.
On 27th March, President Buhari announced that the lockdown would be eased on Monday 4th April which allowed banks and some selected businesses to open in the FCT, Lagos and Ogun state.

The Lagos state Government, earlier announced that social distancing and wearing of face mask would be compulsory for every person as part of the conditions for easing lockdown.
