MANY FEARED DEAD AS SUSPECTED HERDSMEN ALLEGEDLY ATTACK EBONYI COMMUNITY, SET HOUSES ABLAZE
Eons Intelligence have gathered that assailants suspected to be herdsmen on Monday allegedly attacked a village in Ngbo community of Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, killing several residents and setting houses ablaze.
Recall, on March 31, Eons Intelligence reported that herdsmen attacked four communities in Ishielu Local Government Area of the State where about 25 locals were gruesomely butchered.
It was learnt that the attack which began in the early hours of Monday also affected Ebele village in Umuogodoakpu community, forcing many residents to flee.
The Ebonyi State Government had on Wednesday set up 1000 vigilante groups across the State in a bid to tackling the incessant attacks.
