NAF AIRSTRIKES KILL SCORES OF BANDITS, INJURE OTHERS IN KATSINA AND ZAMFARA
At least 67 armed bandits have been killed and several others injured in a series of airstrikes conducted by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Katsina State.
The Operation was carried out by the Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji at Birnin Kogo forest in the State.
On the same day, 15 armed bandits were killed by air strikes at Ajjah forest in Zamfara State.

Both operations were conducted following credible Human intelligence reports which led to the identification of the two forests, which housed scores of armed bandits alongside hundreds of rustled livestock.
Immediately, the air component engaged the target areas with airstrikes, leading to the killing of several bandits.
Eons Intelligence earlier reported that armed bandits on Monday, November 23 attacked Zurmi community members in Zamfara State.

It was gathered that sounds of sporadic gunshots were heard all over the town located around Zurmi local government area at about 1:30 pm.
Recall that armed bandits on motorcycles attacked a Jumuat mosque in Dutsen Gari village in Kanowa district of Zamfara State and kidnapped the imam and 17 other worshippers on Friday, November 20.
Similarly, unknown gunmen abducted Sani Dangwaggo, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gamji ward of Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State on October 7.
