NIGERIAN MILITARY INTENSIFIES ATTACKS ON BH/ISWAP TARGETS, ELIMINATES SCORES OF TERRORISTS, RECORDS THREE CASUALTIES
Nigeria Airforce personnels have successfully dislodged scores of Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) Commanders who were said to be meeting with ISWAP new Wali, Sani Shuwaram in Borno State.
Among the neutralised are: Muhammed Ba’ana, Commander of Kirta; Muhammed Ali, Amir of Kwalaram; Ibn Umar, Chief Prosecutor, Bakura Gana, Commander of Jubularam; and Malam Musa, Amir of Jubularam.
The newly installed leader, Sani Shuwaram is yet to be confirmed dead or alive. This attack took place at Sabon Tumbum in Marte Local Government in Borno State.
Boko Haram fighters also allegedly attacked an area called Buniyadi in Yobe State. The Terrorists looted and vandalised a tele-communication mast as well as a health centre. They reportedly carted away a power generating set and drugs, respectively.
Government Forces also successfully repelled an attack at Ngamdu. Sources say ISWAP Forces were largely depleted in the hands of the troops, despite the fact that three Soldiers lost their lives.
In another development, ISWAP Terrorists attacked Mulai village in Maiduguri, Borno State, rustled many cattles in the village. The Military is said to be on their trail and have resolved to bring the situation under control in due course.
