OGUN INCREASES HAZARD ALLOWANCE OF HEALTH WORKERS
The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has increased the hazard allowance of health workers.
Recall that the Association of Resident Doctors OOU chapter had embarked on a three-day warning strike to demand better hazard and life insurance packages.
The Governor, through his Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, said the hazard allowances of health workers has been increased from 200 to 300%.
He also said the government has put in place a life policy for its health workers.
“I want to inform you that we have put in place life policy for our health workers. We would have started immediately, but we will wait to go along with the Federal Government which is also planning similar programme,” the ogun state government disclosed.
