ONE DIE, TWO INJURED IN KEROSENE EXPLOSION IN ANAMBRA

A kerosene explosion has reportedly killed one and injured two siblings in Awka, Anambra State.


The Chief Fire-fighter in Anambra State, Mr. Martin Agbili, confirmed the incident to reporters.


According to reports, the victims were the children of Mr and Mrs Michael Anor.


As gathered, the incident occurred on Sunday when a keg of kerosene kept at the back of a deep freezer exploded in one of the rooms.


A source told newsmen that firefighters rescued the three children trapped in the flat. 


Unfortunately, one of the children died from the injuries sustained from the inferno, while the other two have been transferred to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Awka, for treatment.
