ONE SHOT AS OKADA RIDERS, WARDERS CLASH IN IBADAN (VIDEO)

Violence has erupted at Agodi gate in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, after a warder of the Agodi correctional center reportedly shot an Okada rider.



The riot started around 10 am on Tuesday, November 24 very close to the facility.



Reports say the violence was ignited when a warder beat up an Okada rider for not tipping him.



Thereafter, the police station at Gate was allegedly burnt by some irate Okada riders.


The okada rider who sustained a gunshot wound is alive and receiving treatment, while security operatives led by the Joint security task force Operation Burst have taken over to restore normalcy in the area.
