POLICE APPREHEND DISPATCH RIDER, ACCOMPLICE FOR STEALING MOTORCYCLE IN LAGOS

The operatives of Lagos State Police Command have apprehended a dispatch rider and an accomplice for conniving to sell a motorcycle belonging to a Lagos-based logistics company.


The information available indicates that the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) intercepted the suspects in Oke–Koto, Agege, following their credible intelligence search within the area.


The arrested suspects were identified as Ekele Sunday (M) aged 28, Yakubu Abdurrahman (M) aged 28, and one other, currently at large.


During the investigations, it was revealed that Ekele connived with Abdulrahman to dispose of the company's motorcycle after a month of working with the company, of which the motorcycle was procured a few days before he was employed.


The operatives are straining every nerve to track down the suspect at large while the arrested suspects are currently facing prosecution in Ogba Magistrate Court, Agege.
