POLICE ARREST NOTORIOUS SYNDICATE RESPONSIBLE FOR VANDALIZING RAIL TRACKS IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTRY
Security operatives have arrested a notorious criminal syndicate responsible for vandalizing rail tracks in the Northern part of Nigeria.
The arrest of the syndicate comes after intentional efforts from security operatives to nab perpetrators of recent incidents of rail track vandalism. The suspects are also alleged to be responsible for carting away important locomotive equipment and economic sabotage.
The syndicate are among a total of 36 suspects arrested by the police recently for offences of banditry, kidnapping, armed robbery, possession of illegal firearms, cultism, murder, economic sabotage, cybercrime, car snatching, etc.
