POLICE ARREST THREE FOR ALLEGEDLY PRODUCING FAKE VEHICLE DOCUMENTS IN KANO
Kano state Police command have arrested three Suspected criminals for allegedly producing fake vehicle documents.
The spokesman of the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the arrest in a statement.
He said the arrest was in continuation of a case of suspected Motor Vehicles theft, where one Odinaka Godwin and two others were arrested in possession of nine (9) Pairs of Motor Vehicles number plates and a total of ten (10) Motor Vehicles.
Kiyawa explained that a discreet investigation also led to the arrest of 57 years Abdulra’uf Olalade and his accomplices, Abdullahi Suleman and Suleman Ibrahim.
The suspects confessed to having specialized in producing fake Motor Vehicles Documents.
He said a discreet investigation was in progress, after which suspects will be charged to court for prosecution.
The Kano State Police spokesman said seven out of the ten stolen vehicles were handed over to the rightful owners, while the remaining three are not yet claimed.
