POLICE INTERCEPTS TRUCK CONTAINING YOUTHS FROM THE NORTH AT LAGOS-OGUN BORDER

The Lagos State Police Force has intercepted a truckload of youths from different parts of the north at the border between Lagos and Ogun State.

The police said the arrest was made following an Intelligence report that the truck filled with tomatoes also contained a large number of young men.

As gathered, the youths who appeared to be in their 20s and 30s were directed to come down from the truck, as the police said they would be taken to the task force office for further investigation.

Many have raised concerns about the continuous violation of the interstate travel ban, as part of the measures to curtail the spread of the COVID-19.
