POLICE PARADE KILLERS OF A CATERER IN IMO STATE
The operatives of Imo State Police Command on 12th July 2023 paraded two suspects identified as Henry Chigozie Okorie, 39, and Okechukwu Nnali, 43, over the killing of a caterer, Chinonye Ukachukwu, 38, along Isiekeukwu expressway, Delta State.
Okorie who hails from Amakpaka Ofekata Orodo, Mbaitoli LGA in Imo State, on November 30, 2022, solicited a gun from his gang member, Okechukwu Nnali of Umuduru Ihezie in the same Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State, for an armed robbery operation in Delta State.
Consequently, on December 1, 2022, the victim was lured to Isiekeukwu expressway in the pretence of showing her a job (cooking for workers) at a building site.
Having arrived at the building, the suspect shot his victim, Mrs Chinonye Ukachukwu twice on her body, and robbed her of the Ash-coloured Lexus SUV.
The suspect drove the car straight to Orodo in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State where he handed the car over to his boss, Okechukwu Nnali.
Meanwhile, the police operatives tracked and arrested the suspect, while the vehicle was recovered and thereafter, released to the deceased husband on bond.
