POLICE RESCUE ABDUCTED VICTIMS IN ZAMFARA STATE
Operatives of the Zamfara State Police command have rescued a one-year-old baby and six women abducted by terrorists at Kadamutsa village in Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.
Information available indicates that the rescue resulted from an extensive search-and-rescue operation conducted along Zurmi - Jibiya axis by the operatives.
Police Tactical Operatives in collaboration with Vigilante acted on intelligence information on November 24, 2022, regarding the abduction of Six (6) women and a 1-year-old child by bandits /terrorists at Kadamutsa village of Zurmi LGA of the state.
The Police operatives mobilized to the location where a search and rescue operation was conducted along Zurmi - Jibiya axis, which subsequently led to the unconditional rescue of all the victims unhurt.
The victims were taken to the hospital for medical checks and handed over to their families.
