PRESIDENT BUHARI CONDEMNS ATTACK ON GOVERNMENT SECONDARY SCHOOL IN KATSINA

Following the abduction of several students from a Government Secondary school in Katsina, President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, December 12, condemned the attack and says his prayers are with the families of the victims 


The attack was carried out one week after the President paid a one-week private visit to his hometown in Daura, Katsina State.


Recall, Eons Intelligence earlier reported that several students were on Friday abducted from a Government Science Secondary School, in Kankara community, Katsina State.


The President condemned the attack in a statement released by his spokesperson, Garba shehu.


He said; “I strongly condemn the cowardly bandits’ attack on innocent children at the Science School, Kankara


"My prayers are with the families of the students, the school authorities and the injured.”


According to Shehu’s statement, the military has located the bandits’ location and are in the process of retrieving the abducted students.


It is pertinent to mention that the Katsina State Government immediately ordered the closure of all boarding schools in the State.


The Katsina State Police Command, in a statement on Saturday by its PRO, Isah Gambo, said 200 students who fled as a result of the attack have all returned safely.
