PRESIDENT BUHARI'S NEPHEW AND CLOSE ALLY, MAMMAN DAURA, FLOWN TO THE UK FOR TREATMENT
Mamman Daura, nephew and close confidant of President Muhammadu Buhari, has been flown to the United Kingdom for urgent medical treatment over an undisclosed ailment, according to Sahara Reporters.
This comes barely two weeks after Aisha Buhari, wife of the President, was flown to Dubai for medical treatment over neck pain.
It was gathered that Daura, 80, was flown to the UK in a private jet after displaying respiratory symptoms similar to that of Coronavirus since last week.
Mamman Daura, a former journalist, is said to be an integral member of the presidency, and helps Buhari make key decisions.
Earlier this month, Daura came under criticism after he said that zoning of the presidency in Nigeria should be stopped.
Recall that President Buhari has lost two of his closest allies this year; Mallam Abba Kyari and Mallam Ismaila Isa - Funtua, to the cold hands of death.
