Sanwo-Olu: No Curfew In Lagos For Now.
Lagos State Government has dropped the plan to impose a Dusk-to-Dawn Curfew in the state. The initial plan to emplace curfew was to facilitate the disinfection of the state to stem the spread of Corona Virus.
The change or plan was premised on the advice of fumigation experts. They counselled that the fumigation constituents is non toxic and does not pose any threat to the lives of Lagosians.
He said, ''I am pleased to note that we have taken possession of over 200 disinfecting machines, and starting today, we will be disinfecting all major highways, bus stops, markets, parks and other public areas.''
The Governor made it clear that if the need to impose a curfew arises, the government would respond and act immediately.
