SECURITY OPERATIVES ARREST THREE SUSPECTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ATTACK ON GOVERNOR ORTOM'S CONVOY
Security operatives have arrested three Jukun fishermen in connection with last Saturday's attack on the convoy of Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.
Governor Ortom's Security Adviser, Col. Paul Hemba, confirmed the development to newsmen on Tuesday.
Hemba stated that security operatives found the fishermen close to the scene of the attack and are being investigated.
Recall, on Saturday, Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, narrowly escaped death after herdsmen reportedly attacked his convoy at Tyo-Mu community, Makurdi, Benue State.
